Ancient Mesopotamia was the first civilization recorded, beginning in about 8000 B.C.. Lasting for about 2000 years. This will tell the location, landscape, trade and war of Mesopotamia.

        In the first place,The great ancient region of Mesopotamia is located north of the Persian gulf. Today it's located in Iraq, which is located in the middle east. Mesopotamia was very rainy in the north because of the Mediterranean sea, in the south it was very fertile which resulted that the crops grew very good. The latitude and longitude of the borders were 38.5338 N, 48.3443 S. According to Wikipedia the borders of Mesopotamia were: The Nile River, Red Sea, Mediterranean Sea, Syrian Desert,  Persian Sea/Gulf, Media, Anatolia, were the borders.
Now, the landscape was very fertile, that's why it was called the Fertile Crescent. According to Wikipedia, irrigation was key for landscape and banks. This is because irrigation was first invented in Mesopotamia they invented this because the  tigress and Euphrates river could not reach the crops so they invented banks to the crops. This affected the people in a good way because, the people had fertile land, irrigation, and food. According to ducksters.com Mesopotamia means land between two rivers, also why it is called the Fertile Crescent. Silt also helped the crops grow because the farmers flooded the fields and got silt.
Next, the civilizations they traded with were many cities. According to mr.donn.com the Mesopotamians traded with many Empires. If the cities had valuables (gold, silver, copper) they would more than likely go to that city first.  The people imported and exported many things. According to the Mesopotamia book they people traded crops, seeds, valuables, gold, copper, silver, and often animals. Often people went to Egypt to get gold. Later on, when there were wars the warriors usually battled when there were valuables on the line. They battled because Babylon started a battle where all civilizations battled other people of course Babylon won. According to Mesopotamia.co.uk. Babylon won because they had a bigger empire more people and better weapons. The results of Sumer and Elam were that Elam won. Elam won because Elam threatened Sumer king so Elam had to forfeit. Mesopotamia was a great region that covered many miles. With cites inside the walls that held rich merchants. Now you know the location, landscape, who they traded with and who they battled with.
